The Club Penguin Holiday Party is here! Wait, whaaaat? “Holiday” Party? Let’s see what they have to say:”We recognize that lots of you have so many different kinds of celebrations this time of year and we want everyone to feel included so instead of calling it a Christmas Party this year we’re calling it the Holiday Party”. That was nice of CP! Anyways, the free item, the Santa Hat, is at the Ski Village! And here are step-by-step instructions on how to get the Member item, the Santa Suit:

CP: Card-Jitsu Tips

December 11, 2008

Here are my tips at playing Card-Jitsu. They have helped me get to an orange belt in just 15 minutes! Now, i know everyone has they’re own way of playing Card-Jitsu, therefore, my tips may not work for you like they do for me. But atleast try them first (:

1. Always use your highest numbered snow card first. If they defeat this card, it doesn’t matter as theres still time to get a card!

2. Secondly, use any numbered water card as they’re most likely to use a fire card.

3. Use your snow again! It doesn’t matter what number!

4. Never be predictable. E.g. if you have a fire and water card, don’t use your snow card! They’re most likely to choose fire; as it melts snow. So use your water card.

5. If they already have a fire card, go for a high numbered snow card. They’re most likely to use a water card.

6. Always think one step ahead of them! It’s quite easy to figure out there tatics so don’t worry!

7. Think before you choose a card! If you don’t, you may not defeat the other players card.

8. If you are face with a penguin with a black belt, don’t back out! They are just like everyone else only with a higher belt. The belt doesn’t make any difference in how good they are. Plus, you get MORE points!

9. Imagine yourself as the other penguin. SO, whatever they have on their board side already, try to think up what they would use. So e.g. you ‘imagine’ that they (you) are going to use a water card, therefore you use the snow card.

10. Don’t back out if your losing. The other opponant could easily loose by the click of a finger!

11. Also, make sure you go to Sensei to play Card-Jitsu otherwise you won’t get your belts! It says on the Board that has all the coloured belts on it if you didn’t see it!

I hope my tips helped (:

Club Penguin Card-Jitsu Game Tips

December 4, 2008

I think the most important recent news on Club Penguin is that NINJAS have come! I am still only on my Red Belt, slowly working my way up!

Here is a simple guide on how to work your way up the ranks, slowly but surely;

The most obvious thing first you need to do is to go speak to the Sensei. First, go to the Dojo Courtyard, then go inside the Dojo. Hover over the cushion in the right hand corner, and a grey penguin will appear. Simple click on it and wait until the pop-up box says “Would you like to speak to the Sensei?” Say yes. The Sensei will show you how to play Card-Jitsu (the game you play to become a Ninja). He won’t tell you some important tips though.

To get your belts, you must speak to the Sensei and click on Challenge Mode – DO NOT PLAY ON THE MATS IF YOU WANT TO GET YOUR BELTS!!!

I cannot stress this enough. I made the mistake of playing several games of Card-Jitsu on the mats, and wasted time to earn my white belt.

Once you have gotten into a game, wait for the intro to finish (where your penguin and the opponent bow to each other). Your first 5 cards will show up face up on your side (you can be on either side).

Here are a few tips on playing:

1. I usually play a water card (any water) at the beginning, since most people paly their Fire cards as it is seen as the strongest.

2. I also recommend that you sometimes play your highest card – so one of those 10 ones which have the flashy thing around it.

The 10 value cards (with the flashy things) make it so that the next time you pick a card, the lowest valued card wins, unless the other person can cancel out that card.

For example:

If I play the 10 value water card, and the other person plays a Fire, I will win. The next time the lowest value will win. The next time I pick a 2 value Snow card, but if the other person plays a 2 value water, or a higher value on water, I win the round.

But if the person plays a 2 value fire, they will win. they will also win if they play any fire.

I hope that explains the 10 value cards a little better!

Moving on;

3. Keep a step ahead of the person. This means that you can predict what they are going to play, therefore meaning you will win the round.
4. But be careful when you do this. Sometimes you may go too far ahead of them, and play the wrong card. Make sure you are aware of what kind of intelligence they are at first before trying to predict them.

5. Always think before you play. You have 20 whole seconds to choose what to play, and yes you can pick quickly to rush the other player, but if you sometimes think before you play, you are more likely to succeed.

That is all my tips to play Card-Jitsu. I have stuck by these tips and they have gotten me very far!

Good luck on becoming a Ninja

CP: Unlimited tix, Mission 9 out, Halloween cat.

October 11, 2008

Ok, it is kind of obvious it doesn’t work, but before the Fall Fair finished, Grab and Spin was closed, probably because of this glitch.

In other CP news, the new mission came out! The Gaming Beanie won’t be doing a mission tutorial, since many people have already done a mission 9 tutorial.

Basically, you need to try and find out where Herbert is, then set up a surveillance camera!

And also, the new Halloween catalogue is out, complete with a few new additions and old favorites 🙂

That is all for now! Keep on CP-ing x

CP: Newspaper, production, Fall Fair news & pin(s)!

September 12, 2008

Wow! Lot’s of new stuff in Club Penguin this week! In the Developer’s blog, Billybob posted a sneak peek of the Fall Fair:

I believe the bottom left one is candy floss & confetti, and the bottom right is balloons. at the moment, I am guessing the top one is a tent or something like that. Get your guesses in!

A new stage production started today! It is called “The ruby and the ruby”. I guessed correctly ^^; I thought it would be  detective themed, because of, and I quote “mystery” in the newspaper articles. I also thought it would be one of those New York ones, since the Stage was part grey coloured.

There was some coolio new items that were out for the stage too! If you click on the door knob in the costumes catalogue, you will be able to buy a darker colour of detective coat, or aka a mac:-

And also, a friend kindly gave me another costume trunk secret: the hidden background!

Also, a new pin came out today! It is a magnifying glass pin, and can be found at the dock near the middle right in a tree:

And wow! Another secret pin is out, thanks to the stage production ^^; Here is how to get the secret ruby pin:

— Click on the filing cabinet, bin, book, flower vase and the painting (pictures below) in this order.

cp cp cp cp cp
— After clicking the painting, wait for it to open, and click the ruby to get the pin!

Phew! That’s a lotta news! XD

And finally: a mailing list for TGB has started! Click the link to your right hand side to join 🙂
